Writing Exercises
Ok, so I’ve been nominated to lead a writers’ group at work (nominated by one of the proofers, no less). I’m probably going to start with the new year. I don’t think I’ll be starting a group outside of work for lack of interest, but I will most likely post the exercises on here. Is there anything you, my three readers, are wanting to learn?

I want you to write about how you are going to buy World of Goo (or let me buy half of it) so I can come over and play it sometime. It got a 10/10 from WiiWare World.

I’m half-tempted to make you write an essay first.

I will, if that’s what it comes to.

1. I’d like to request a lesson on iambic pentameter. I learned about it many years ago, yet I’m still fuzzy on how exactly to write in/with it, especially when it comes to the variations of it.
2. World of Goo looks like fun. I concur with dm that you should get it. Then, after you two play it some and figure out how it works, perhaps you and Janelle could bring it over to my place and we all could play it here. And, being the good pupil that I am, I would then write a poem about it in iambic pentameter.
