Zoey: the cat, the lard-ball, the legend
So I’m seriously lacking in my posts about Zoey. Here’s one.
Zoey’s packing on the pounds (nine of them, to be exact). Soon, he’s going to need those cat stairs for cats that can’t jump up on the couch any more.

We’ve been throwing around talk of getting another cat; but we may not need to if Zoey keeps growing. He already weighs as much as Franny, and just looking at the two of them, you can tell that there’s no way he’s supposed to weigh as much as Franny. But for a cat whose main “cute factors” are lying on his back with his stomach exposed and eating frequently, this isn’t very surprising.
So forget cat prom. It’s time for cat Sweating to the Oldies. We need some cat Tae Bo (Billy Blanks says “meow”). And we need some cat salads (without dressing). It’s high time we whip this little guy back into shape. Zoey, I expect to see a vast improvement.

Maybe he’s an emotional eater, and therefore he has been eating a lot lately because he senses that you and Janelle favor Franny. Exercise is all fine and good, but really it’s just a band-aid for the symptom (packing on the pounds), rather than treating the root issue (that Zoey feels unloved). Poor Zoey. Look what you two have done to his self-worth…
Uh, why am I defending a cat, of all creatures? What’s come over me? Sorry, carry on with your Zoey bashing. For a moment there I almost forgot about my general disdain for cats. Weird. ;-P

Zoey and I have a group therapy session on Tuesday night. I’ll let you know how that goes.
Poor little buddy.

That’s very supportive of you.
Hey, totally unrelated to poor Zoey, but nice work playing percussion Sat night. There were some good shots of you up on the video screen during the songs.

Oh man, I’m really self-conscious about myself on screen. I’m still getting used to being up there. Give me another couple of weeks and I think I’ll feel fine. Thanks for the compliment!
